Ionic contamination from harsh cleaning of bare or assembled circuit boards can be detected with ease and accuracy, using the SCS Ionograph Series.
Yielding results in a quick and easy manner means that you can comply with industry standard testing for printed circuit board (PCB) fabrication and assembly, whilst maintaining efficiency in your lab working practice. Detailed analysis is fed into specially developed SCS PowerViewTM Software (Windows based) to deliver exact reports to your computer or tablet.

With over 45 years of experience in manufacturing environments, SCS ionic contamination test systems continue to prove their value as the leading choice for electronics manufacturing, delivering accuracy and performance in a range of configurations:
SCS Ionograph® BT (Bench Top) Series test systems offer efficient and accurate testing and have been designed to sit conveniently on a bench top, with three test cell sizes available;
Small Parts (SP) 6” x 6”
Medium Parts (MP) 14” x 12”
Large Parts (LP) 14” x 20”
The CE-certified Ionograph BT Series allows for individual parts, complete assemblies, small devices and even cleanroom specific products such as gloves, assembly tools and components to be tested.
The durable stainless steel structure ensures quality and robustness. Easy-access door panels mean that routine maintenance and cleaning can be conducted easily and effectively, ensuring working time efficiency is always maintained.
Ionograph® SMD V
SCS Ionograph SMD V is a floor unit used for large part, high throughput circuit board testing.
The SMD V gives you the option to test components with a heated test solution, allowing you to accelerate and improve the efficiency of ionic extraction from poorly accessible regions, such as under surface-mounted components. Submerged agitation jets and optional heated extract solution provide outstanding sensitivity, together with the ability to maintain a consistent set temperature of the test solution.
