PI-KEM Ltd has been named Tamworth Business of the Year at the 2026 Royal Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Chamber of Commerce (SLTC) Awards.

The accolade was presented at the ceremony held at Statfold Country Park, which marked the 10th anniversary of the regional awards. The recognition celebrates the Tamworth-based company’s continued growth, innovation and commitment to supporting organisations involved in advanced research and production.

PI-KEM Ltd is a specialist scientific supply partner, working with organisations across the UK and internationally to provide high-quality materials and equipment that support innovation in science and technology.

The judges commented that “PI-KEM Ltd had demonstrated exceptional growth, strong leadership, and impressive operational scalability over the past year. Their knowledge-led approach, record-breaking orders, and investment in people have delivered outstanding client and staff retention, alongside measurable financial success. With a strong local community impact and clear ambitions for the future, PI-KEM continues to set a high standard for excellence."

Helen Brazington, Director of Excellence at PI-KEM Ltd, also commented:

“I am beyond thrilled that we’ve won the Tamworth Business of the Year at the 2026 SLTC Chamber of Commerce Awards. While holding this award is a proud moment for PI-KEM Ltd, this win truly belongs to our amazing team.

It is a direct reflection of their hard work, passion and the daily contributions that drive our success. Their efforts are seen, valued and are at the very heart of the business. I couldn’t be prouder of what we’ve achieved together.”

The awards evening also celebrated the strength of the local business community and supported a number of regional charities. A total of £4,975 was raised for Grace Cares CIC, The Mel Evans MBE Foundation and The Cancer Support Centre.

As an active member of the Royal Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase Chamber of Commerce, PI-KEM Ltd looks forward to continuing its contribution to the local economy and supporting the wider scientific and technology community throughout 2026 and beyond.
